Hi Everyone !   I hope all is well :)

Music is something very special. It Binds us together, it helps us Heal, it makes us Feel, it makes us Happy !

The Guitar has been a Key instrument in helping us to express music !

Origins of the Guitar are murky, but I have seen some who date it back to 13,000 B.C.!

One of the stories pointed to the stringed instrument, finding its beginnings in the Hunters Bow! Makes sense if you think about it! A single string, stretched tight?  It’s bound to make a pitch if you pluck it!

Students are doing well! I really try to give them a balanced diet of Guitar and Music

WARM UP EXERCISES - To develop the strength and coordination needed 

SCALES - This is where all of,our musical Melodies and solos come from

CHORDS - Most basic songs are made up of a combination of 3 or 4 Chords

if you learn a handful of them, you can play a lot of tunes !

READING/THEORY - Understanding this will really help you comprehend what is going on in the music you listen to or are trying to play 

COOL RIFFS - The guitar is famous for producing interesting and long lasting riffs. Think of Smoke on the Water or Iron Man and many others .. They have stood the test of time !

*PRACTICE TIP :

3/4 Days a week .. Consistently .. 1/2 hr .. Follow my assignment sheet for you !

(Make it easy by having your area already set up with your guitar, music stand, lesson folder, phone and computer ready to Rock!)
